It's Mike Wilby's defence today, and it was good to be a part of the committee asking him questions. I went over and talked in the bar for the borrel afterwards with Peter Tuthill about the best way of calibrating non-common path errors in his Toliman proposal. Combining the zeroth order star with the first order from the other star in a binary is an excellent tactic - but how to make an even grid of delta spikes in the PSF? That's the question. Interesting discussions!
