Monday was bread making, then off to Den Haag for shopping with the family. Off to Regina's for her photo shoot, and then back home whilst enjoying the warm weather.

good intentions

It's my 45th birthday today, so here's a simple challenge. Write something each day, no matter how trivial. Let's see if I can commit to something for the whole year. Two rules: Write something every day, and it's okay to miss one day but you need to summarise on the next day. I have to record: mood every day, and weight every week. The goal is to get a handle on my progress over the next year. We went to VIP for dinner, I brined the turkey for tomorrow's thanksgiving, and started the poulish for the bread tomorrow. Lovely relaxing day with the family, I failed to fix the Wii U it still doesn't play double layer DVD games.

Took out the turkey from the brine, and set up for the cheesy bread. All day around the house, pretty tiring but awesome to have a cooked turkey thanksgiving with friends. A lovely day. Tomorrow to meet with the Old Observatory renovation people. Should be fun!

beer

Long day at work, a meeting missed.... grrrr. Okay, good news from one grad student - DDT time awarded! And Megan's paper appeared on astro-ph. And then beer at the Bonte Koe with Robin and an old room mate of his. Lovely.
